About the Company
Custom Electronics Company was founded in 1968 by Charles Heflin and was incorporated in the State of Maryland in 1973. Strong customer loyalty developed from attention to customer success has allowed the Company to survive and thrive in a challenging marketplace. Charles’ son Rick and his wife Gayle continue to manage the business today after Charles retired in 1993.
Rick Heflin
Owner/President
Having grown up in the business, Rick has over 30 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing business and has managed the day to day operations of the Company since Charles retired in 1993. Rick is the primary contact with all customers and vendors, which assures the best possible manufacturing experience.
Gayle Heflin
Owner/Vice President
Gayle joined the Company in 1994. With a background in Human Resources and Office Management, Gayle is responsible for all the administrative tasks associated with running a business, such as payroll, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, employee benefits, and working with customers and vendors as appropriate.
